2015 Shock Jr. Dance Camp Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25

SPOKANE, Wash. (June 11, 2015) - The Spokane Shock is excited to announce the annual Shock Jr. Dance Camp with the Rockstar Shock Dance Team will take place on Friday, July 24 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. at the Shock Training Facility located at 3212 N. Eden Road, Suite B in Spokane Valley. Participants will then have the opportunity to perform during halftime of the final regular season Shock home game against the Portland Thunder on Saturday, July 25 at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena.
Participants ages 4-16 may register online at shock.mycustomevent.com. The cost to attend the camp is $75.00. Online registration will begin Thursday, June 11 and will continue until Wednesday, July 22. Registration will also be available on the day of the camp at the Shock Training Facility.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn a dance routine choreographed by Shock Dance Team Directors Maggie Kazemba and Casandra Morgan.
- Meet, interact with, and be instructed by the Shock Rockstar Dance Team members.
- Make lots of new friends while learning about goals, teamwork, and character.
- Perform their routine live at during halftime of the final regular season Shock home game on July 25 at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena.
In addition, each participant will receive:
- Two (2) tickets to the game (one for the camp participant and one for an accompanying adult)
- A Jr. Shock Dancer T-Shirt
- Game Night Promotional Item (Shock 2015 Team Poster)
- A private autograph session with the Shock Rockstar Dance Team
Additional information:
- Age Ranges: 4-16
- Cost: $75.00 per participant
- Tickets: One of the two tickets in the package will be used by the Jr. Shock Dancer.
- Practice Attire: Wear comfortable top and shorts or jazz pants - dance or gym shoes.
- Game Attire: Jr. Shock T-shirt, black bottoms (shorts, pants, etc.) - dance or gym shoes.
- Food: The Shock will provide water during the camp and pizza for a late lunch. Parents are encouraged to bring snacks.
- Transportation: Parents must arrange transportation for their children to the practice facility on Friday located at 3212 N. Eden Rd. Suite B., Spokane Valley, WA 99216, as well as to the Spokane Arena on Saturday.
