
2010 Open House & Fan Spring Training Announced

Round Rock Express fans will get a chance to take the field to bat and play catch at The Dell Diamond on Saturday, March 6. A vintage baseball game and Fan Spring Training highlight this season's Express Open House. Free admission and free parking is available to the fans.
The Round Rock ISD kicks off the day's events at 8 a.m. CT at The Dell Diamond with their sixth annual Project Graduation Run/Walk 5K to raise money for all four Round Rock high schools and their graduating seniors.
Free activities at the ballpark also include the Mustang Owner's Club of Austin Car Display (10 a.m.-2 p.m.), Children's Health Festival in the United Heritage Center (10 a.m.-2 p.m.), a scavenger hunt and home clubhouse self-guided tours. The vintage baseball game starts at 11 a.m. and matches media members against the Montgomery Saw Dogs.
Fans can field and bat on the field following the baseball game from noon to 4 p.m. Spike, the Express mascot, will make an appearance as kids can sign up to be a part of Spike's Kids' Club. The Railyard will have a sale on Express apparel while raffling merchandise.

Regional Chamber After-Hours Planned
The Round Rock Express Baseball Club will host a Regional Chamber After-Hours event Thursday, March 4, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CT in the United Heritage Center at The Dell Diamond. Appetizers and beverages will be provided. For more information, contact Henry Green at 512.255.2255.
Spring Break Baseball Camps
The Round Rock Express will offer a Spring Break Camp March 15-17 for players age 6 and up at the Dell Diamond. The camp, which will be conducted by recent College Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee and UT great Kirk Dressendorfer, will consist of two sessions each day organized according to age.
Session 1 is for ages 6-11 and runs from 9 a.m. to noon. This session is an instructional/development camp, focusing on fundamentals of hitting, throwing and fielding. Session 2 is for ages 12 and up and runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This session is an advanced/specialty camp, focusing on specific positions, pitching, catching, base running, theory and strategy, and scrimmage games will be held on The Dell Diamond field.
