2009 Skyhawks Schedule

The Can-Am League has officially released their 2009 schedule, with the league champion Skyhawks opening on the road against Brockton on Thursday, May 28.

The Skyhawks will open at home much later than they have since joining the Can-Am League during the 2006 season. The Skyhawks first home game will be Monday, June 1 versus the Worcester Tornadoes, the team they defeated in the first round of the Can-Am League playoffs in 2008.

The Skyhawks promotional schedule is constantly being updated, but the cornerstone promotions have been outlined and the Skyhawks have added a new "discount promotion" to each Tuesday night game.

Highlights of the current Skyhawks promotional schedule:

- 9 Firework nights; first pitch for each fireworks night will be 6:35 pm. Game dates are June 5, June 19, June 26, July 2, July 10, July 24, July 30, Aug. 13, Aug. 21.

- Every Thursday night (excluding July 2 & July 30) will be $1.00 beer and soda nights.

- Every Tuesday night will be 2 for Tuesdays ... fans will have the opportunity to purchase 2 reserved tickets, 2 hot dogs, 2 bags of chips and 2 sodas for $22.00.

- The Skyhawks will be hosting 3 day time games for schools, recreations departments, summer camps and anyone else who just wants to skip work on June 3 (10 am), July 29 & Aug. 19 (11 am).

Skyhawks season tickets and mini plans are currently available. The Skyhawks 12-game mini plan is the only was to guarantee a seat to every regular season firework show during the 2009 season.
