LAREDO, Texas - The 2006 CHL President's Cup Champion Laredo Bucks are looking for a few good men and women. Can you sing or dance? Do you have a special talent? Then the Bucks want you! The Bucks will be hosting auditions for the 2006-07 Lady Bucks Dance Team on August 20th at the Laredo Entertainment Center. People can signup for the dance team auditions, national anthem auditions and special talent auditions for game intermissions at the Bucks Open House / Doctors Hospital Health Screening on August 19th at the LEC. The Laredo Bucks are offering a family four pack of season tickets for the 2006-07 CHL regular season, that works out to just over $7 a seat per game and is a 46 % savings off walkup prices. The Bucks are looking for dancers, who are energetic, dynamic and talented to represent the organization on the 2006-07 Lady Bucks Dance Team. For more information call Mario Mecaroni at (956) 718-BUCK (2825).
"The Lady Bucks Dance Team plays a major role in the game production and now we are looking for more dancers to build on last year's successful season," said Bucks Director of Game Operations Mario Mecaroni. "We want to continue the tradition of being one of the premiere dance squads in the CHL. We also want to find people who can do something unusual, something entertaining, or just flat out different that we can feature during on ice intermissions."
All dancers must have flexible evening and weekend schedules for rehearsals, games, and appearances during the season. All dance team members for 2006-07 season will be required to attend community / charity appearances.
People can sign up for national anthem auditions or special talent auditions at the Bucks Open House / Doctors Hospital Health Screening on Saturday, August 19th at the LEC. HOW TO REGISTER TO AUDITION FOR THE LADY BUCKS DANCE TEAM?
Pick up the Registration form at The L.E.C. Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm
Register on Saturday, August 19 (Noon - 5pm) @ L.E.C. During the Buck's Open House.
Your Photo, Application & Application Fee are DUE on Saturday August 19, at the Buck's Open House, Noon-5:00pm
(Photos and Applications will not be returned, Photos do not have to be professional quality- any type is acceptable. This is used for identification purposes only, so please be sure that the photo is current. Application Fee is Non-Refundable
DANCE TEAM AUDITIONS
- Date: Sunday, August 20th
- Time: 9am - 5pm (will break for lunch)
- Place: Laredo Entertainment Center, Main Entrance
- Ages: 18 & up and must be a High School Graduate
- REQUIRED ATTIRE: Dance Attire is mandatory. No Baggy Clothes. Dance or athletic shoes. Dance background is preferred but not necessary

BUCKS OPEN HOUSE
- On August 19th the Bucks will hold their second annual open house at the LEC. There will be CHL championship merchandise on sale, as well as behind the scenes tours of the LEC and Bucks players will be on hand to sign autographs. The open house on August 19th is the last day that fans can lay down a $50 deposit per 2006-07 Bucks season ticket and be eligible for the drawing for a 2006 Laredo Bucks CHL Championship ring. For the second straight year the Bucks will partner with the Laredo Animal Protective Society and will have dogs and cats available for adoption at the open house. Adoption fees run $50 for dogs and $30 for cats. The fee includes rabies shots, distemper shots, spay or neuter, plus a bath and dip.
Doctors Hospital will conduct a free health screening at the open house. The Doctors Hospital health screening will feature body fat analysis, blood pressure checks, height, weight and health information.
At the open house there will also be signups for National Anthem tryouts and for the 2006-07 Lady Bucks Dance Team. For more info on 2006-07 Bucks season tickets log onto www.laredobucks.com or call (956) 718-BUCK (2825).
