
2005 Lincoln Generals Spring Tour

(Lincoln, NE) - The Lincoln Generals of the All American Professional Basketball League unveiled today the schedule for its upcoming "2005 Lincoln Generals Spring Tour." The tour includes visits to six restaurant/bars around the Lincoln area, and will begin this coming Thursday March 31st when the Generals appear at Cheerleaders Bar and Grill, which is located one block south of 48th Street and Nebraska Highway 2.
The purpose of the tour is to generate exposure for the Generals within the Lincoln community. According to Matt Starr, Vice President of Marketing and Sales of the team, "This is a great opportunity for us to advertise the team around the community. More importantly, however, our goal is to get the community acquainted with the name of the team, and hopefully generate more support around town."
Come join future members of the Lincoln Generals dance squad, in addition to members of the staff for an opportunity to win different prizes, as well as single game tickets for the inaugural game of the season to be played this coming November.
The 2005 Spring Tour will take place every Thursday afternoon from 5 pm to 8 pm. Additionally, the Lincoln Generals will include a stop to the Haymarket Brewsky's on Monday April 4th for the final game of the 2005 NCAA Men's Basketball Championships.
