2005 Hammerhead Cheerleaders Announced
December 16, 2004 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Corpus Christi Hammerheads News Release
Corpus Christi, TX- Forty of the Corpus Christi Area's loveliest and most talented ladies came out to try-out for Hammerheads Cheerleader last weekend at Fonzie's Dance City.
It was a grueling and nerve-racking few hours as each of the women learned a routine in the morning for the afternoon tryouts. Emotions were plenty, participants were unnerved, but spirits were high as each woman gave her all for a chance to live a dream, a chance to dance and cheer professionally. Unfortunately, the organization could only pick 20 of these women to represent the Hammerheads in 2005 as Cheerleaders.
Although only half of those that tried out made the team, The Corpus Christi Hammerheads would like to thank all the brave, confident, and gifted women that came to the try-out, that is very commendable. Anytime you put yourself out there like that to be judged takes a lot of guts. Seven of last years cheerleaders and Hank the Mascot are returning from last year, and it will be the rookie season for the other 13 women.
The 2005 Hammerheads Cheerleaders are as follows:
