WINNIPEG, MB – The Winnipeg Football Club is pleased to announce the 2005 CFL Coach of the Year Luncheon presented by Canad Inns is sold out!

"It's exciting to see another Football Club event sold out," said Lyle Bauer. "The community support in Winnipeg is overwhelming as this is a great opportunity for Winnipeggers to show their support to the Blue Bombers and CancerCare MB, Manitoba's Blue and Gold Teams."

Proceeds for the luncheon are in support of CancerCare Manitoba.

"The Winnipeg Football Club is extremely pleased with the response from the community regarding the Coach of the Year luncheon. Thanks to the generosity of Canad Inns, and our fans, we will now be able to provide a generous donation to CancerCare Manitoba. On behalf of the Football Club, and particularly the Bauer family, I thank everyone who supported our first initiative on behalf of all cancer patients," said Gene Dunn, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The event is perennially attended by all nine CFL head coaches who join in saluting the Coach of the Year as selected by the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC). This year's finalists include Wally Buono, B.C. Lions, Greg Marshall, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Michael Clemons, Toronto Argonauts.
