Stamps Hoop it up for Cancer

(Calgary) – The Calgary Stampeder Football Club is hitting the hardwood this Saturday, January 29th in charity basketball game vs the Jr. Cougars (grade 9 team) at Mount Royal College (Kenyon Court). The game will take place from 1:30-3:30 pm and will include an autograph session, door prizes, kids shooting competition and raffle items. Price of admission is $10 with all proceeds going towards the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) in support of those living with, through and beyond cancer.

"I was excited about this event when it was in its early stages," said offensive lineman Jamie Crysdale. "The support from the players and everyone involved has been tremendous. We are all looking forward to an exciting and entertaining afternoon, raising money for a great cause.

The Stampeder roster will include the following players: Jamie Crysdale, Scott Coe, Brian Clark, Ronnie Jenkins, Mike Juhasz, Andre Arlain, Khari Jones, and George White.
