2003 Player Tryout Camps Announced

Richmond Roosters News Release
Tryout camps for the Richmond Roosters and the Frontier League have been announced for the 2003 season. New this year will be a Florida location for the Frontier League camp. The Richmond Roosters will hold camps on the following dates:
Friday, May 9th

McBride Stadium, Richmond, Indiana
Tuesday, May 27th
10:00 am
McBride Stadium, Richmond, Indiana
Monday, June 9th
10:00 am

THERE IS NO REGISTRATION FEE FOR ROOSTER TRYOUT CAMPS.
For the first time, the Roosters have set late camps for college players who are not able to attend the earlier camps.
Using the impressive accomodations at Tigertown (the Detroit Tigers' minor league facility) in Lakeland, Florida, the Frontier League will hold it's first league tryout camp in Florida.
The Frontier League's annual tryout camp and draft will be held on Monday, March 31st and Tuesday, April 1st. Registration will begin at 8:00 am on Monday with the workout starting at 10:00 am. Tuesday's workout will begin at 9:00 am.
All league clubs will be respresented. After the workout on April 1st, League Commission Bill Lee will preside over the 2003 Frontier League draft. The fee for participating in the Frontier League camp is $25.00. The registration form will be posted on the League website (www.frontierleague.com) soon.
