
16-Hit Night Ties up the Series in San Jose

SAN JOSE, CA- Rawhide offense put together a 16-hit night to defeat the San Jose Giants 13-1. Four Visalia players had multi-hit games: Juan Corniel (3), Alvin Guzman (3), Junior Franco (3), and Jacen Roberson (2). Guzman, Franco, and Roberson all drove in four runs. The only other player to drive in a run was Sergio Gutierrez, who hit his third home run of the season.
The Rawhide only used two pitchers, Yilber Díaz and Miguel Gil. Diaz earned his third win of the season after giving up one run in over five innings of work. He struck out eight while walking three batters. Gil threw over three scoreless innings for the Rawhide to earn his second save of the season. He walked one Giants batter while fanning five.
The series is now tied at 2 and first pitch for Game 5 is at 6:15 on Saturday evening.
