
11 U-18 USHL Athletes to Wear the US Sweater

Grand Forks, ND - USA Hockey announced the 20 man roster for the 2005 United States Under-18 Select Team which consists of 11 athletes who skated in the USHL last season or will compete this season. The squad will compete internationally at the 2005 Under-18 Junior World Cup, August 9-14 in Piestany, Slovakia and Breclav, Czech Republic.
The roster is highlighted by the #1 overall pick in the 2005 USHL Entry Draft, St. Paul native Kyle Okposo (Des Moines). Okposo played his prep hockey at Shattuck St. Mary's were he was one of the most highly recruited athletes in the country.
Seven USHL teams are represented on the US U-18 team, the individual athletes are:
