
'05 Canadian College Draft to have plenty of Renegade flavor

OTTAWA â The Ottawa Renegades Football Club will have six picks overall in the 2005 Canadian College Draft, two of which will come in the first round â with the first five selections.
The Renegades, who selected Ibrahim Khan and David Azzi with their pair of first rounders in 2003 (No. 2 and No. 3 respectively), hold the second spot and the fifth spot for the 2005 draft, to be held Thursday, April 28 via conference call. Ottawa will also have the No. 2 pick in each of the third round (20th overall), fourth round (29th overall), fifth round (38th overall) and sixth round (47th overall).
Ottawa has already inked two other players from the 2004 draft to contracts during the off-season. The Renegades locked up offensive lineman Christian Leibl-Cote and defensive tackle Matt Kirk.
