The final chapter of the 2026 Asheville Tourists season ended Sunday night the way so many games this year did, right down to the wire, with the tying run at the plate and the crowd holding its breath. September 5, 2026 - ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Saturday night at HomeTrust Park was not the sendoff the Tourists were looking for heading into the final game of the season. Greensboro jumped out to a five-run lead through four innings and never let Asheville back in, winning 11-4 to set up a season finale Sunday night.
