Talons Relocating

September 21, 2011 - Tulsa, Okla., September 23, 2011-The Tulsa Talons franchise is relocating to San Antonio and will begin play in March of 2012 as the San Antonio Talons. This was an extremely difficult decision for the Talons' owners, but after much deliberation it was concluded relocating the team was the best option from a business perspective. Neal Wins Another Weekly Honor

June 22, 2011 - Talons DB J.C. Neal has won an AFL weekly honor for the second consecutive week. After winning the defensive player of the week and MVP of the week with an outstanding performance against the Utah Blaze, Neal has now won the Spalding Highlight of the Week after his interception for a touchdown against the Philadelphia Soul this past weekend. Neal, Hunt Earn Weekly AFL Honors

June 14, 2011 - Talons defensive back J.C. Neal and wide receiver Al Hunt have won AFL weekly awards for their performances in the Talons 81-51 win over the Utah Blaze last weekend. Neal was named the Riddell defensive player of the week after having his best game in a Talons' uniform. The North Carolina State product had 2 pick sixes in the game against Utah, returned an on-side kick for a touchdown and had 6 tackles in the game giving him 70 for the season which places him 8th overall in the league. Talons defeat Blaze

June 11, 2011 - TULSA, OK - It could not have gone any better for the Talons. Tulsa turned in its highest scoring total since joining the AFL last season and the highest scoring output in the entire AFL this year, defeating the Utah Blaze, 81-51, at the BOK Center. The scoring output was catalyzed on the defensive end as Tulsa scored three defensive touchdowns, including two interceptions returned for touchdowns by J.C.
