June 7, 2006 - DANBURY, CT-The Danbury Trashers, proud members of the United Hockey League (UHL) have participated in Tuesday's UHL Dispersal Draft as they acquired the rights to a handful of players. With the Motor City Mechanics, Missouri River Otters and Roanoke Valley Vipers all closing up shop for the 2006-07 season, the rights to the players on those rosters were distributed around the league on Tuesday morning. May 26, 2006 - DANBURY, CT--Tyler Rennette's power play goal at 19:25 of the second period proved to be the game winner as the Kalamazoo Wings edged Danbury 2-1 before a sold out crowd of 3,005 at the Danbury Ice Arena on Friday night to take a 3-1 lead in the Colonial Cup Finals. Mike Manley's goal at the 14:16 mark was the lone tally of the first as the Wings led 1-0 after the opening period, as Sly Daigle kept the Trashers in the contest with 17 first period saves and 41 in the game. Karlander's two-goal night lifts Kalamazoo to 2-1 series lead

May 24, 2006 - DANBURY, CT--Kory Karlander netted a pair of goals, while Joel Martin saved 21 of 23 shots on Wednesday night as the Kalamazoo Wings regained the Colonial Cup series lead following a 3-2 win over the Trashers in game three before 2,737 at the Danbury Ice Arena. A tightly contested opening period broke open as Karlander's first goal was a rebound shot past Sly Daigle at the 13:00 mark for the only goal of the first period.
