March 27, 2026 - A goaltenders' duel where both teams battled their hearts out and set the table for one heck of a series ultimately went against the Wheat Kings in Calgary for their playoff opener.
Filip Ruzicka was sensational with 64 saves, but the Hitmen took a 1-0 triple overtime victory over Brandon. Both teams went 0-for-3 on the power play.

March 21, 2026 - With a morale-boosting milestone in sight, the Brandon Wheat Kings took an important win for the team's psyche in the regular season finale against the Regina Pats.
Nicholas Johnson opened the scoring, and fellow 20-year-old Luke Mistelbacher closed it out as the Wheat Kings beat the Pats 4-2 on home ice. Daniil Skvortsov and Brady Turko also scored, while Filip Ruzicka stopped 27 of 29 shots he faced.

March 20, 2026 - After building up a two-goal lead on the Regina Pats, the Wheat Kings saw it slip away in the opening minutes of the third. From there, however, they took a multi-goal lead they would never surrender.
Joby Baumuller hit the 40-goal mark with two goals, and Brett Wilson, Nigel Boehm, Prabh Bhathal, and Dylan Ronald all scored as the Wheat Kings beat the Regina Pats 6-3. Jayden Kraus turned aside 24 shots in his return to the lineup.
