January 31, 2026 - Whether they hit the wall at the end of the road trip or not, the Wheat Kings weren't able to wrestle a fifth win on the road swing out of Spokane against the Chiefs. Jayden Kraus came in to relieve Filip Ruzicka in the first period of what proved to be a 4-0 Wheat Kings loss.
"I just thought we were really light on pucks," said Wheat Kings head coach and GM Marty Murray. "Last night we were strong and heavy, and the difference is tonight I thought we were light and soft and second to pucks, and I thought that hurt us."

January 30, 2026 - Against a tough defensive opponent, an ultra-capable young goaltender, and a gruelling road schedule, the Brandon Wheat Kings flexed their offensive muscles and turned in one of their best performances of the season.
Giorgos Pantelas and Brady Turko scored twice each, and Joby Baumuller, Jordan Gavin, and Prabh Bhathal all scored as well as the Wheat Kings beat the Tri-City Americans 7-1. Jayden Kraus turned in another strong performance with 25 saves on 26 shots.

January 29, 2026 - For the second time on the road trip, the Wheat Kings came into the second of a back-to-back needing a bounce back. And for the second time, they got one.
Joby Baumuller and Luke Mistelbacher scored twice each and Gunnar Gleasman and Brady Turko also scored as the Wheat Kings downed Wenatchee 6-3. Jayden Kraus stopped 30 shots in the win.

January 28, 2026 - For the second game in a row, the top two goal scorers for the Brandon Wheat Kings found the back of the net three times between the two of them. This time, however, the defensive effort didn't match the one in Portland.
Luke Mistelbacher scored twice, and Joby Baumuller scored a power play goal, but the Wheat Kings fell 7-3 to the Seattle Thunderbirds. The loss moves the Wheat Kings to 1-2 on the U.S. portion of the road trip.
