December 19, 2025 - It came right down to the wire, but the Brandon Wheat Kings are heading into the holidays happy after a win over the Calgary Hitmen.
Nicholas Johnson and Chase Surkan scored in regulation, and Joby Baumuller was the hero in overtime as the Wheat Kings closed out their road trip with a 3-2 win in Calgary. Filip Ruzicka stood tall with 37 saves and was named the game's first star.

December 18, 2025 - Through forty minutes, the Brandon Wheat Kings were in a close game with the Medicine Hat Tigers, down by just one in a back and forth affair. In the third, however, the road miles seemed to catch up to them.
Jaxon Jacobson, Nicholas Johnson, and Carter Klippenstein all scored but the Wheat Kings fell 7-3 to the Medicine Hat Tigers. Jayden Kraus stopped 32 shots in the loss.

December 17, 2025 - As the season has progressed, the Wheat Kings have demonstrated a willingness to win the gritty, close games as well as the high-flying track meets. They demonstrated it again in a game against the Red Deer Rebels.
Joby Baumuller and Jimmy Egan scored and the Wheat Kings won 2-1 over Red Deer. Filip Ruzicka turned in another excellent effort with 26 saves on 27 shots.

December 14, 2025 - The Wheat Kings watched a lead slip away from them in the third period against an undermanned but determined Edmonton Oil Kings squad. No sooner had they lost the lead, however, than they got it right back and built on it en route to their sixth straight win.
Joby Baumuller scored twice, including the game winner, and Carter Klippenstein and Max Lavoie also scored as the Wheat Kings started their road trip with a 4-2 win. Filip Ruzicka was strong again with 32 saves on 34 shots.
