November 7, 2025 - What might be the strangest game of the WHL season so far, and certainly the strangest of the Wheat Kings' season, went against them on Friday, November 7.
Luke Mistelbacher and Dylan Ronald scored twice each, but it wasn't enough as the Wheat Kings fell 8-7 to the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Brady Turko, Caleb Hadland, and Nicholas Johnson also scored in the loss.

November 6, 2025 - The Brandon Wheat Kings have claimed defenceman, Daniil Skvortsov off of CHL Import Waivers from the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League.
Alternatively, the Wheat Kings have transferred defenceman, Adam Hlinsky back to Czechia and won't be placed on waivers.

November 5, 2025 - Just one game after their offense hit something of a wall against the Calgary Hitmen, the Wheat Kings did a lot more than just bounce back. They positively exploded against the Swift Current Broncos.
Jaxon Jacobson, Joby Baumuller, and Cameron Allard all scored twice, and Carter Klippenstein, Nicholas Johnson and Jimmy Egan scored once each. Filip Ruzicka made 27 saves in the lopsided 9-4 win.

November 4, 2025 - Calgary, Alta. - The Western Hockey League announced today Brandon Wheat Kings forward Chase Surkan has been Sandman WHL Rookie of the Month for September / October.
Surkan, a 16-year-old product of Regina, Sask., recorded 19 points (12G-7A) and a plus-1 rating in 11 games during the combined months of September and October. His 12 goals were tied for second among all WHL skaters and led all WHL rookies.
