Cheyenne, WY: The Cheyenne Warriors continue to add talent to their roster for the 2013 season. Joining the team are QB David Knighton, Harding University, and WR Lemans Casimier, Itawamba Community College.
QB David Knighton spent his collegiate career shattering the record books at Harding University. In his time at Harding, Knighton broke 27 Harding records. Some of his records include the most passing completions with 861, the most passing yards with 9,955, the most passing touchdowns with 80, the best passing completion percentage at 60%, and the highest passing efficiency rating of 130.8.
Knighton also has plenty of indoor football experience. He will be entering his 4th season of indoor football. Knighton has played for the Arkansas Diamonds, Allen Wranglers, and the Warriors closest rival in the Colorado Ice. In Knighton's career he has thrown for 5,434 yards with a 62% completion ratio. He has thrown for 115 touchdowns with only 25 interceptions. Knighton also won the Most Improved Player Award in the IFL during the 2011 season.
WR Lemans Casimier played collegiately at Itawamba Community College. Casimier is another indoor football veteran. Casimier will be entering his 5th season of indoor football. Through his IFL career he has played for the El Paso Generals, Billing Outlaws, and for the Colorado Ice. During his career, Casimier has 194 receptions for 2,434 yards and scored 47 touchdowns. He is also no stranger to QB David Knighton as the two played together for the Colorado Ice during the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
