CEDAR RAPIDS, IA:The Cedar Rapids Titans have scheduled a 3:00pm news conference for Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Titans multi-use sports facility, the Eastern Iowa Sports Complex located at 1100 N 18th Ave in Hiawatha. The Titans will announce the 2013 Indoor Football League schedule during the event. The Titans are entering their 2nd season in the Indoor Football League. The news conference is open to members of the media and Titans fans & sponsors. Titan's players & front office staff including the team's general manager/co owner Chris Kokalis along with other team owners will also be on hand.

The Indoor Football League is a nationally recognized developmental league that has helped its players take their game to higher outdoor levels including the Canadian Football League and National Football League. Notable players that have moved up from the IFL to the NFL include WR Anthony Armstrong (Washington Redskins), LB Maurice Simpkins (St Louis Rams), DL Adrian Awasom (Minnesota Vikings), and Coe College alum RB Fred Jackson (Buffalo Bills).
