Sandler Added to Legends Television Broadcast Team

*FRISCO, TX, (Oct. 25, 2016)* - The Texas Legends have announced a new addition to the television broadcast team, 105.3 The Fan's Jared Sandler. Sandler will be joining veteran color commentator Mike Fisher and Legends assistant general manager Travis Blakeley on air.

Sandler graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Communications and began his broadcasting career calling minor league baseball. Currently, Sandler serves as the pre- and post-game host as well as the play-by-play alternate for the Texas Rangers on the Texas Rangers Radio Network. Sandler has made guest appearances on the Legends' broadcast but will be joining as the full-time play-by-play host for the first time.

"I'm honored to join the broadcast with Fish and Travis as well as the entire production team," Sandler said. "We'll work hard to bring fans the best broadcast in the D-League as we share the team's journey throughout the season."

Fisher and Blakeley will each be returning to the broadcast team for the fourth season. Fisher is a well-known host on 105.3 The Fan and inside reporter for the Dallas Cowboys and Mavericks via DallasBasketball.com.

"I've long said the Legends are the best NBA franchise that's not in the NBA," Fisher said. "Everything about this organization is first-class, from its community involvement to its on-court product. Our telecasts, as always, will strive to match that high quality."

Blakeley brings a locker-room perspective from the Legends' basketball operations department. As a seven-year veteran to the team, Blakeley has served in a dual broadcasting/coaching role and brings exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to the show.

"I look forward to working with such professionals as Mike and Jared to bring the best TV broadcast possible to our amazing Legends fans," Blakeley said. "It is our goal to be informative and interactive with the fans, so we welcome their participation via social media before, during and after the games."

All Legends home games are aired live on television, radio, and online streams. The Sandler, Fisher, and Blakeley broadcast will air on Fox Sports Southwest and KTXD- Texas47.
