Redbirds, FM100 Offer 10-Game FanPlan

Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Redbirds have teamed up with FM100 to offer a new ticket plan for the 2005 season. The FM100 FanPlan gives fans tickets to 10 pre-selected weekend and holiday games.

Fans will receive Field Box seat tickets for Opening Day Weekend (April 9), Memorial Day Weekend (May 29), Independence Day (July 4), and Labor Day Weekend (September 4); each of these games features a post-game fireworks display. The remaining six games on the plan are: April 23 (Saturday), May 14 (Saturday), June 18 (Saturday), June 24 (Friday), July 23 (Saturday), and August 13 (Saturday). FM 100 FanPlan holders will also receive priority to purchase their seats for the Major League exhibition game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Cincinnati Reds on April 1, 2005 at AutoZone Park.

The new FM100 Fan Plan is available online at memphisredbirds.com, by phone at 901.721.6000 and at the Redbirds ticket office at the corner of Third and Union. The station will broadcast live from the Backstop Baseball Emporium on Saturday, Dec. 18, from 2-5 p.m. The team store will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and former Redbirds second baseman Bo Hart, who participated in the St. Louis Cardinals 2004 National League championship-winning season, will be on hand to meet with fans and sign autographs from 2-4 p.m. Drinks and snacks will be provided, and discounted Redbirds merchandise will be available for any last-minute holiday shoppers looking to find a bargain.

The Redbirds 2005 season kicks off April 7 against Oklahoma, and full-, 30-game and 20-game season tickets are all available online, by phone or in person through the ticket office.
