Tucson, AZ- The Tucson Sidewinders Holiday Fireworks Friday has been officially proclaimed by Mayor Bob Walkup's office. City Councilman Fred Ronstadt, doubling as Santa Claus, will read the proclamation at the event that will take place Friday (tomorrow) at the Reid Park Band Shell with Santa's arrival at 6pm.

"Last season was a great one for Sidewinders baseball and as a gift for our community we are happy to host a free Fireworks Friday," said owner Jay Zucker.

The pyrotechnics show will commemorate the return of Fireworks Friday at Tucson Electric Park for the entire 2005 season.
