Maine Celtics News Release
PORTLAND, Maine -The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, announced today the acquisition of Malcolm Miller from the available player pool. Miller has been activated prior to tomorrow's Red Claws game at Raptors 905.
Miller is of no relation to the Malcolm Miller that played all of last season in Maine. The 6-6, 200 pound Miller played collegiately at Southern, and has spent the last two seasons playing overseas, including most recently in Hungary in 2015-16.
To make room on the active roster, the Red Claws deactivated Abdel Nader today due to injury.
The Red Claws face Raptors 905 tomorrow afternoon in Canada. Maine returns home next weekend when it faces Santa Cruz on Dec. 3 and Raptors 905 on Dec. 4.
