Black Hills Red Dogs News Release
The Black Hills Red Dogs of the National Indoor Football League are pleased to announce the following additions to their 2004 roster:
#56 LB Jesse Ranek #62 OL/C Lucian Scott #66 OL Adrian Brayboy
In the first trade of the season for the Red Dogs and our division rival, the Wyoming Cavalry, we have acquired 6'2" 320 lb Lucian Scott. At center, Lu will be filling a much needed vacancy on our offense. Scott was on Wyoming's 25 man roster, but was not on the active 21 man roster. Having been traded from the Cavalry for cash and future trade considerations, Lu will get the opportunity to play here in the Black Hills.
Ranek hails originally from Tyndall, SD, and played for South Dakota State University. Jesse also played for the German Football League, and most recently was with the Show Me Believers, a fellow NIFL team. At 5'11" 235 lbs, Jesse will be looking to add to the Red Dogs sack and interception totals.
Adrian Brayboy joins the team by way of Los Angeles, CA, and also has pro-football experience after having played last season with another fellow NIFL team, the Tri-City Diesel. Out of Kentucky State University, Adrian stands 6'5" and weighs 324 lbs, and will be playing left guard.
We welcome these three new players to the community and to the team. All three players started this past game vs. Billings, and all had an outstanding performance.
All Red Dogs home games are played at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. Come see the Black Hills Red Dogs take on the Tri-City Diesel Friday, April 23rd, doors open at 6:00 P.M. For ticket information please call 394-4111 or 1-800-GOT-MINE. For more information on the Red Dogs, please visit our website at www.blackhillsreddogs.com.
