
Doug Smith Wins Second Player of the Week Award

West Valley City, UT â Utah Warriors quarterback Doug Smith returned to action last Friday night against the Wyoming Cavalry and picked up right were he left off. Smith quarterbacked the Warriors to a comeback 63-56 win in his first career start on the road. His performance earned him the NIFL Pacific Conference Player of the Week award. Smith finished the game 13x21 for 175 yards and six touchdowns, all with no interceptions. He moved his record to 3-0 as a starter for the Warriors. Smith missed the Warriors' last game with an infection in his throwing arm. This is the second Player of the Week award claimed by Smith this season.
