Nebraska Danger News Release
There's running on to the scene, then there's crashing through IFL barriers on his way to making a name for himself in the league, and the latter is what best described Nebraska Danger running back Davonte Sapp-Lynch.
Despite a tough loss to Green Bay, Sapp-Lynch punched in three more touchdowns for the Danger. Pairing that with his three rushing touchdowns in week one, and Sapp-Lynch sits in second-overall for the league rushing TD totals.
Lynch entered the year being known as the younger brother to Super Bowl-winning running back Marshawn Lynch, but after two games in Grand Island fans are starting to say "Beast Mode Who?" Through two games, Sapp-Lynch is also third in the league in total rushing yards per game, averaging 63.5 yards on the ground per outing.
Next up for the Danger is a tall task, as the Sioux Falls Storm come to Grand Island for the Taste of the Heartland game on Saturday, March 9. Sapp-Lynch will look to continue running wild on the league when this game kicks off at 7 p.m. inside the Heartland Events Center.
Tickets for the 2019 Nebraska Danger Football Season are on sale through the Heartland Events Center Ticket Office, Ticketmaster.com, or through your local Pump and Pantry. For more information, visit dangerfootball.com.
