Texas Legends News Release
FRISCO, TX, (Nov. 8, 2016) - The Texas Legends have announced a partnership with Mercedes-Benz of Plano that will allow one lucky fan to drive away from the final home game in a brand new 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA250.
Mercedes will showcase the car at all home games, hanging it above the playing court. This activation is the only of its kind in the sports industry and earned "Best Activation" in the NBA Development League.
"We are very excited about our partnership with Mercedes-Benz of Plano," commented Dallas Mavericks President and GM and Legends Owner Donnie Nelson. "The car giveaway is one of the highlights of our season and something our fans really look forward to year-round. To have a partner like Mercedes to make that happen is big news for everyone."
Finalists for the car will be chosen through an "Enter to Win" contest. Fans can register at all home games, and twenty-four finalists will be chosen at random.
Each finalist will be invited back to the final home game on Saturday, March 25th where they will test their luck by random selection of a key. One lucky winner will have the key that starts the car.
The Legends will host the Boston Celtics affiliate, the Maine Red Claws, in their season opener Saturday, November 12th. Don't miss out on the fun and your chance to win! For tickets or information visit www.TexLegends.com.
