
LEGENDS ACQUIRE RETURNING PLAYER RIGHTS

FRISCO, TX (Nov. 30, 2016)--The Texas Legends announced today that they have acquired Sioux Falls' own 2017 3rd round draft pick as well as returning player rights to Byron Wesley in a trade with the Skyforce. In turn, Texas sends guard Patrick Miller. The trade is pending player physicals.
Wesley (6-7, 240, Baylor) played three seasons at USC before transferring to Gonzaga. In 132 collegiate games he averaged 11.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. Wesley joined the Skyforce last season for 13 games averaging 2.8 points, 1.7 rebounds in 7.9 minutes. He has played 12 games with Joensuun Kataja this season averaging 16.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.
