
Legends Acquire Dejuan Blair

FRISCO, TX--The Texas Legends announced today that they have acquired forward DeJuan Blair off the waiver wire.
Blair (6-7, 270, Pittsburgh) has seven years of NBA experience, most recently with the Washington Wizards last season. In 424 career games, Blair has averaged 6.8 points, 5.1 rebounds in 16.6 minutes per game. Blair was drafted in the 2nd round (37th overall) of the 2009 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs. In his rookie season, Blair saw action in 82 games (23 starts), playing 18.2 minutes and tallying 7.8 points, 6.4 rebounds to earn All-Rookie Second Team and a spot in the Rising Stars Challenge where he was named MVP.
Blair played two years at Pittsburgh averaging 13.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.0 block for the Panthers and earning AAC Rookie of the Year, AAC Player of the Year, and All-American honors.
