
Lakers Assign Zubac to Los Angeles D-Fenders

EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles Lakers have assigned center Ivica Zubac to the Los Angeles D-Fenders for the seventh time this season, it was announced today.
In 10 NBA D-League contests this year, Zubac has averaged 16.6 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 blocks in 29.4 minutes per game. The 19-year-old rookie has registered four double-doubles, including a performance of 17 points and 10 rebounds in his most recent appearance with the D-Fenders on Friday, Dec. 30.
Zubac is expected to suit up for the D-Fenders when the team hosts the Iowa Energy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5, at the Toyota Sports Center.
