 Texas Legends News Release
FRISCO, TX- The Texas Legends have announced the return of a partnership with KVGI Radio that allows all Legends games to be broadcast live via www.kvgisports.com, your smartphones (Apple/Android) and www.tunein.com . In addition, Tune In works with Microsoft and Blackberry smartphones.
The KVGI broadcasts will be led by Nick Neppach (play-by-play) and Curtis Fowler (color commentary). Neppach began his broadcasting career in college calling games for the Hardin-Simmons University basketball teams. In his second year with KVGI and the Legends, Neppach is the play-by-play voice of KVGI Sports and hosts his own show, "The Practice Squad". Fowler is a retired US Marine in his first season with the Legends shows on KVGI. Fowler works for a Veteran non-profit and hosts "The Fowl Line" on KVGI Sports.
"We love being the official radio station of the Legends," stated KVGI Founder Mark Wariner. "We get to come to all of the games, do what we love, and promote ourselves and the team. It doesn't get much better than that!"
The live radio broadcasts complement the media reach of the Legends which includes television broadcasts (FSSW, Texas47, and NBATV), social media and online streams.
The live game broadcasts will begin with the Legends season opener on Saturday, November 12 as they host the Maine Red Claws at 7:30 pm at Dr Pepper Arena. For more information and the full season schedule visit www.TexLegends.com .
