
Kings Recall Papagiannis from Reno Bighorns

RENO, Nev.-The Sacramento Kings have recalled rookie Georgios Papagiannis from the Reno Bighorns of the NBA D-League, the team announced today.
Papagiannis has accrued averages of 12.9 points (.502 FG%, 3-5 3pt, .700 FT%), 8.2 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 31.1 minutes per game in 18 contests (started 15) for the Bighorns this season. A 7-2 center, Papagiannis recently tallied three straight double-doubles, including career-highs of 23 points (11-19 FG) and 15 rebounds in a victory over Sioux Falls on Jan. 25. He also registered 17 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks versus the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (Jan. 27) and 10 points, 12 rebounds and one block against the Salt Lake City Stars (Jan. 29), bringing his double-double total to five on the campaign. His 41 blocked shots currently rank fourth in the D-League.
