
Harris Posts Triple-Double against Blue

FRISCO, TX, (Feb. 24, 2017) -Manny Harris, the NBA Development League's leading scorer, powered out a triple-double Friday night as the Legends fell to the Oklahoma City Blue 106-121. The Legends beat the Blue in outside shooting but were smothered on the boards 40-51 as the Blue rebounded from two straight losses in the conference rivalry.
The two teams exchanged leads six times in the first before Oklahoma City edged a 27-26 advantage at the buzzer. The Blue ran through nine straight points to open the second and maintained a double-digit lead until midway through the quarter. Texas finished the half strong with a 7-0 streak to pull within two heading into halftime.
Daniel Hamilton came out of the locker room firing, hitting 5-of-5 for 14 points to widen the gap for the Blue. The visitors would hold their lead through the final 12 minutes to take their first win of the season against the Legends and put the four-game series at 1-2.
Harris led the team in all categories with 27 points, 15 rebounds, 11 assists, and a game-high 4 steals. Jameel Warney added his second straight double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Pierre Jackson rounded off the Legends' double-digit scores with 21.
The Blue had six players in double-digits led by Hamilton with 32 points, 9 rebounds, and 11 assists.
