As a junior, Lewis finished the season with 52 total tackles (28 solo), 4.5 for loss, 2 sacks, 1 int, 4 pass break ups, and 5 pass deflections. Lewis, from Hawthorne, CA was a standout at Mt. "Thyrell is one heck of a football player and he will make an immediate impact in our secondary. Weber does some very unique things defensively and in the span of a few plays he had lined up at CB, Outside Linebacker, and Safety, and was making plays all over the field. His closing speed is on par with NFL CB's and he has the character to match. We are very excited to welcome him to the Grizzlies family." stated Fairbanks Grizzlies Head Coach Robert Fuller.

The Fairbanks Grizzlies are proud members of the Indoor Football League (IFL). The 2011 season kicks off in February with an exhibition game on Monday February 21st. Season tickets for the Grizzlies 2011 season are available for purchase and start as low as $19 a month. Call (907) 452-5123 for details and get your 'Growl On' for 2011.
