Grizzlies Sign Offensive Line Coach

At a press conference earlier today at Mac Federal Union the Fairbanks Grizzlies announced the signing of offensive line coach, David DeVaughn .
David DeVaughn has lived in Alaska since 1974. He had a successful high school football career at Ben Eielson Junior/Senior High School, earning two-way first team All-Conference for both offensive and defensive line, first team All-State offensive tackle, and second team defensive tackle. After graduating in 1992, he attended Weber State and played football there for a year before transferring to Mayville State University, where he was a four-year starter from 1994-1998. In 1999, he accepted his first coaching position at Ben Eielson as an assistant under Buck Nystrom. The following year, he was hired as the Ravens' head coach. As head coach, DeVaughn has led the Ravens to eight conference championships and two state championship appearances. DeVaughn is supported by his wife, Tara, two sons, Payton, 8, and Greyson, 4, and daughter, Rylee, 5.
