Rio Grande Valley Dorados News Release
HIDALGO, TEXAS --- The Rio Grande Valley Dorados of arenafootball2 will hold a local tryout camp at Valley View High School on Saturday, January, 24, at 1 p.m.
Players will participate in various position specific drills in addition to being timed in the 40-yard dash, broad jump and short shuttle. Players should dress appropriately for the tryout, including proper footwear for field turf. The $30 pre-registration fee ($50 day-of, cash only day-of) will cover the facility fee.
"It's important to me to give Valley athletes the opportunity to try out for the team," Dorados Head Coach Marty Hammond said. "Garrett Mason (a McAllen native entering his second season with the Dorados) has told me about the talent here in the Valley and I've seen it first hand at the high school games. I'd love to add some local players to the roster."
For more information or to pre-register contact the Dorados office at 956-843-5658.
