Tulsa Talons News Release

Donovan Morgan has been named the Russell Athletic offensive player of the week in the AFL after his outstanding performance in at home against Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings last weekend.

Morgan was a big reason the Talons were able to pull away from the Battle Wings in the second half and go on to a convincing victory. Morgan finished with 9 catches for 180 yards and 5 touchdowns. His final touchdown went for 45 yards as he sprinted away from the Battle Wings defensive back down the sideline. Morgan is now second in the league with 44 touchdown receptions on the season.

The Talons are on the road in Alabama this Saturday taking on the Vipers. The Talons official watch party is at Fair Meadows Grill (21st and Yale-just North of Big Splash) at 7:30pm. The Talons return home Saturday, July 24th for their last home regular season game as they take on the Arizona Rattlers. The Rattlers offensive coordinator is former Dallas Cowboys' quarterback, Danny White. Call the Talons office at 294-1000 to get your tickets for the game on July 24th today.
