Published on July 14, 2010 under Arena Football League (AFL) News Release

TULSA - The Tampa Bay Storm clinched a spot in the playoffs and the top spot in the poll after a solid road victory over Dallas. For the second straight week, Tampa Bay slides past Spokane, both teams receiving six first place votes. The Shock also had a road victory, but narrowly defeated Cleveland in overtime. The Shock will play Iowa on the NFL Network's Arena Football Friday. Tampa Bay will visit in-state rival Jacksonville, who is 5-1 at home.

Chicago and Arizona switch places this week after Chicago beat Arizona in front of the Rush's home crowd, 50-55. Both teams will play the No. 14 seeds, with Chicago playing Dallas and Arizona against Utah.

After a sluggish start to the season, Oklahoma City has bounced back with a three game winning streak, clinching the No. 8 spot in the poll. Orlando also jumps up three spots with a victory over Alabama. Cleveland, dropping the most this week, will play the fiery Yard Dawgz.
