
Colorado Ice Announces New Owner

(Loveland, CO) - Tom Wigley was announced as the primary owner of the Colorado ICE at a press conference Thursday morning, April 1. Wigley joins the team after they have played four of their fourteen games in the 2010 season.
Wigley, a retiree that calls Windsor, Colorado home, said "I couldn't be more excited to take over the ownership of the ICE. This is an amazing product that has an immense amount of potential to thrive in Northern Colorado." Wigley went on relaying that he will attempt to translate his passion for football to new fans. "With the help of the staff at Budweiser Events Center, we are going to show the fans a good time. We are going to be all about family affordable entertainment."
Global Spectrum's Rick Hontz, General Manager of Budweiser Events Center stated he was absolutely on board with the new owners' message about the fans. "The ICE, in conjunction with Budweiser Events Center, will be offering a family four-pack with four tickets, four hot dogs, four chips and four sodas for $49, including all service fees and parking," Hontz said.
The next home game for the Colorado ICE Indoor Football team is Sunday, April 18 at 3 p.m.
