Charge Win Fifth Straight

The Canton Charge (24-17), powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, won their fifth consecutive game in a 113-99 victory over the Windy City Bulls (18-22) at the Sears Centre Arena on Wednesday afternoon.

Reigning NBA Development League Performer of the Week Kay Felder poured in a game-high 35 points on 14-of-25 shooting with five assists in 35 minutes on assignment from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Eric Moreland filled the stat sheet with 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting, 17 rebounds, four assists, four steals and six blocks in 38 minutes. Jonathan Holmes added a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds with three steals in 36 minutes.

John Holland scored 17 points with six rebounds in 32 minutes. Mike Williams came off the bench to score 11 points in 21 minutes. The five-game win streak for the Charge is their second-longest of the season, behind a six-game clip that went from December 23rd to January 7th. After Canton was outrebounded 27-19 in the first half, the visitors returned the favor with a 27-17 advantage on the glass in the second.

Seven Bulls players scored in double figures, led by Will Bynum's 17 points, eight assists and two steals in 31 minutes. Jarell Eddie netted 15 points with five boards and four assists in 35 minutes. Leading Windy City's 48 bench points was Wesley Saunders in scoring 15 points with eight rebounds in 29 minutes.
