PORTLAND, Maine - December 22, 2016 - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, announced today that the Boston Celtics have recalled rookie point guard Demetrius Jackson from Maine.
Jackson was a 2nd Round (45th overall) selection by the Boston Celtics in the 2016 NBA Draft. Jackson has played ten games for the Red Claws this season, and is averaging 19.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.
The Red Claws travel to Grand Rapids Friday night to begin a three game road trip. Maine returns home on Dec. 31 for a 1 p.m. match-up with Windy City. Tickets for both games are on sale and can be purchased by calling 207-210-6655 or visiting MaineRedClaws.com.
