Blue Pushes Past Bakersfield, 110-100

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Blue defeated the Bakersfield Jam, 110-100, on Tuesday at the Cox Convention Center. Oklahoma City Thunder forward Mitch McGary finished with 14 points, six rebounds and four steals in 24 minutes.

Dwight Buycks led the Blue with 22 points and six assists and fellow guard Marquis Teague posted 17 points, five assists and three steals. Talib Zanna scored 13 points with eight rebounds, Dakari Johnson tallied 10 points and six rebounds and Boubacar Moungoro added 12 points off the bench.

The Blue found itself in an early deficit as Bakersfield jumped to a 14-2 lead in the game's first five minutes. Oklahoma City fought back immediately with a 25-8 run to take a three point advantage into the second quarter.

Oklahoma City extended its lead to 56-48 at the halftime break before Bakersfield cut its hole to four heading the fourth quarter. The Blue spurred a 25-10 run to open the fourth and go ahead by 19 en route to its fifth win in the last seven games.

"It was a team effort tonight," said Blue Interim Head Coach Jarell Christian. "Our guys fought through adversity once again after being down early. We continued to stick with the process and the game plan."

Oklahoma City (19-27) shot 12-of-18 from behind the three-point line and scored 28 points off 15 Bakersfield turnovers.

Bakersfield (21-24) was led by Terrico White with 25 points.
