BayHawks Acquire Stefan Jankovic from Sioux Falls Skyforce

Erie, PA - The Erie BayHawks have acquired forward Stefan Jankovic from the Sioux Falls Skyforce, in exchange for Northern Arizona's own 2017 second round pick which Erie acquired via the Alex Davis trade, the team announced today. Trade is subject to Jankovic passing a physical.

Jankovic (6-11, 235), has appeared in 22 games (10 starts) for the Sioux Falls Skyforce this season. He's averaging 5.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 17.3 minutes of action. After going undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, Jankovic joined the Miami Heat for the 2016 NBA Summer League. He signed with the Heat on July 13, 2016 and was later waived on October 17. Jankovic signed with the Sioux Falls Skyforce in November of 2016, as an affiliate player of the Miami Heat.

Jankovic played college basketball for Missouri (2012-14) and later transferred to Hawaii (2014-16). He held averages of 10.1 points and 4.5 rebounds in 18.0 minutes of play throughout his four years. His best collegiate season came his senior year at Hawaii (2015-16), recording 15.6 points on .543 (172-317) shooting from the floor, 6.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 blocks per game in 24.8 minutes.
