Banners Raised at Home Opener The Home Opener for the 2016-17 season is Saturday, October 1, against the Portland Winterhawks at 7:05pm. The T-Birds are encouraging fans to make sure they are in their seats by 6:55pm at the Home Opener. The team will be raising U.S. Division Championship and Western Conference Championship banners in a pre-game ceremony. The team will also be introducing the T-Birds full roster.

All fans will get a 2016-17 Magnetic Schedule courtesy of Pat's Plumbing at the Home Opener. Stick the magnet on your refrigerator to keep track of the upcoming games on the calendar.
KZOK Party On The Plaza at Home Opener
Rock band Point Five will be performing live on the ShoWare Center Plaza starting at 5pm at the Home Opener. The KZOK Party On The Plaza features a beer garden, food and face painting from National Event Pros. Doxon Toyota, Pat's Plumbing and Alsco will be on the ShoWare Center plaza interacting with fans.
Flag Raising Friday
at Kent City Hall
T-Birds Head Coach Steve Konowalchuk, captain Scott Eansor and Cool Bird will join Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke and members of the Kent City Council on Friday, September 30, at noon at Kent City Hall for a ceremonial T-Birds flag raising to celebrate the start of the 2016-17 season.
T-Birds Public Address Announcer Tom Helm will emcee the Flag Raising Ceremony.
The flag raising celebration will take place in front of Kent City Hall on 4th Avenue South. The T-Birds invite all fans to come down to Kent City Hall to take part in this unique celebration to mark the start of the season. The T-Birds encourage fans attending to wear T-Birds gear to the Flag Raising Ceremony.
Fans can share this flyer with friends and family they want to invite to the ceremony.

The T-Birds and Tribune Broadcasting have partnered to broadcast eight games this season on This TV. This includes the Home Opener against Portland on Saturday, October 1st, at ShoWare Center.

The Seattle Thunderbirds Coach's Show on 1090 The Fan is returning for the 2016-17 season.
Head Coach Steve Konowalchuk joins Thom Beuning every Thursday at 6pm starting Thursday, September 29, on 1090 The Fan to talk T-Birds hockey.

All Suite and Heritage Club season ticket holders can use the Doxon Toyota VIP Parking Area for T-Birds games.
The Doxon Toyota VIP Parking Area is on the west side of ShoWare Center right near the Suite and Heritage Club ticket entrance.
This season fans will also see Doxon Toyota automobiles up close on the ShoWare Center plaza throughout the season. The T-Birds very popular second intermission Chuck-A-Puck Promotion will feature new Doxon Toyota automobiles all season long. Fans will notice the Doxon Toyota name throughout the ShoWare Center.

T-Birds season ticket holders can take advantage of a special offer for WHL Live. Season ticket holders can purchase a T-Birds Season Away Pass for $59.95. Youth Group Night Is October 22 vs. Rockets The T-Birds first Youth Group Night of the 2016-17 season is Saturday, October 22, when the T-Birds take on the Kelowna Rockets at 7:05pm at ShoWare Center.
Youth Groups can get 10 tickets for $95. Plus the first 1,000 tickets ordered will also get a T-Birds hat. Ice cream will also be $1 for all fans at this game.

BECU Honors Military Members At T-Birds Games
You served. Now watch Thunderbirds' opponents be served as the BECU Military Member of the Night. BECU military members can enter for a chance to win a ticket four-pack (a $104 value). The member will receive four free tickets and be highlighted during the game.

Hot Dog Happy Hour
Fans can get bottled beer, domestic draft beer, wine and well cocktails at 2-for-1 prices in the Heritage Club for the first 30 minutes after the doors open. Fans must have a Club Ticket to access the Heritage Club.
Fans can also get $3 hot dogs and $3 sodas at the southeast concession stand for the first 30 minutes after doors open at ShoWare Center. This is the concession stand nearest the Hockey Store.
Les Schwab Ice Box Includes Club Buffet
The Les Schwab Ice Box is a great way for your group to watch a T-Birds game. When you purchase a Les Schwab Ice Box for a T-Birds game you receive:
30 to 50 tickets in the first 3 rows of Section 113. The Les Schwab Ice Box can accommodate more than 50 tickets if needed. Each ticket costs only $38 per group member and includes a voucher for the Heritage Club Buffet. Each guest will have access to the Heritage Club located on the 2nd level of ShoWare Center. Group Welcome on the Video Board. Group Leader receives $10 worth of Chuck-a-Pucks. Group Leader receives 2 FREE tickets to another game. Entry into the Group MVP of the Night for the chance to win a Universal Travel Organizer from Ricardo Beverly Hills. A T-Birds hat will be included for each member of the group if 40 tickets are purchased at once. The Group Leader will receive a $100 Hockey Store gift certificate when 50 tickets are purchased at once.
The ticket cost per group member to sit in the Les Schwab Ice Box on a 2-for-Tuesday drops to $27, including the Heritage Club Buffet voucher, but does not include the hat or jersey benefit. Must purchase all 50 tickets for Tuesday game.
