SPOKANE, Washington (September 10, 2015) - The Shock signed two additional players to their roster in preparation for the 2016 Indoor Football League season in defensive backs Terry Shankle and Randall Burden.

Terry Shankle (DB, 5-9, 175, North Carolina) joins the Shock for his second season as a member of the IFL after playing in six games for the Nebraska Danger in 2015 where he recorded 22 total tackles and three pass break ups. Shankle played four collegiate seasons at the University of North Carolina where he saw action in 30 total games and recorded 60 total tackles, four interceptions, and nine passes defended. He played his prep career at North Stanly High School in Norwood, NC.

Randall Burden (DB, 6-2, 190, Kentucky) joins the Shock for his first season as a member of the IFL. During the 2015 AFL season, Burden played in seven games for the Tampa Bay Storm as he registered 28 total tackles and three pass break ups. He also played in two games for the Storm in 2014 as he recorded 6.5 total tackles, one interception, and two pass break ups. Prior to joining the storm, he spent time in 2013 with the Missouri Monsters of the PIFL and the AFL's Utah Blaze. Randall played all four of his collegiate seasons at the University of Kentucky where he played in 49 total contests and recorded 117 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, eight interceptions, and two touchdowns as a defensive back. He played his prep career at LaGrange High School in LaGrange, Georgia.
