Frisco RoughRiders Detail Giveaway Items for 2015

FRISCO, TEXAS (MARCH 18, 2015) - The 2015 season will be filled with "Frisco Freebies" for the RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, as the team will offer a bevy of giveaway items at Dr Pepper Ballpark throughout the year. Today, for the first time ever, the RoughRiders announced a full season schedule of giveaways, highlighted by bobbleheads of Teddy Roosevelt and former Riders pitcher Derek Holland (and current Texas Ranger), and a series of kids replica Riders jerseys.
Every home stand will feature a new free promo item, starting with Opening Weekend when the RoughRiders will hand out 2015 schedule magnets on Thursday, April 9 (7:05 p.m.), and Riders dog bandanas to fans who bring their dogs to "Bark in the Park Night" on Saturday, April 11 (7:05 p.m.).
The RoughRiders' new "Swinging Teddy" logo will be immortalized in a special bobblehead that will be distributed to fans for the game on Sunday, July 5 (6:05 p.m.). Just more than a month later, fans will have the opportunity to get a Derek Holland bobblehead on Saturday, August 8 (7:05 p.m.).
During three (3) games this season, the RoughRiders will feature their "Kids Jersey Series" consisting of all three (3) home jersey variations of the team's new colors, Cream, Scorched Red and Slate Blue. The "Kids Jersey Series" dates are Sunday, July 26 (6:05 p.m.), Sunday, August 9 (6:05 p.m.) and Sunday, September 6 (6:05 p.m.).

Single-game tickets for the Riders' 2015 season go on sale on TODAY at 10 a.m. at the Dr Pepper Ballpark box office, www.RidersBaseball.com and by calling (972) 731-9200. The first 15 fans to purchase tickets in-person at Dr Pepper Ballpark will receive a free RoughRiders t-shirt featuring the new team logo.
The 13th season of Frisco RoughRiders baseball begins on Thursday, April 9 at 7:05 p.m. when the Riders take on the Arkansas Travelers in what promises to be an unforgettable experience. Opening Day will be the season's first Thirsty Thursday/Groovy Grubesday and marks the first game in a new era of Riders baseball, with the debut of the club's new logo, uniforms and color scheme.
