Bighorns Fall on the Road to the Skyforce

SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Feb. 24, 2015- Despite Sim Bhullar shooting 100% from the field, and Tajuan porter netting 37 points, the Bighorns fell to the Sioux Falls Skyforce 141-128 Tuesday night at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, SD.
Porter paced the Bighorns with 37 points, four rebounds and seven assists. Ra'Shad James followed Porter closely with 31 points, five rebounds and five assists. Sim Bhullar went 7-7 from the field, netting 16 points and adding six rebounds.
Scotty Hobson led the Skyforce with 52 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Faquan Edwin added 22 points, five rebounds, and seven assist for the Skyforce.
Porter led the Bighorns in the first quarter with 10 points and three rebounds. James had seven points in the quarter while Melvin Johnson added four rebounds for the Bighorns.
During the second quarter, the Bighorns outshot the Skyforce 38-37. Porter tallied 11 points and two assist in the in the quarter. James notched eight points, two rebounds and two assist for the Bighorns while Reggie more added seven points and three rebounds.
Porter went 8-14 from the field in the first half while James went 6-11 from the field.
In the third quarter, Bhullar led the Bighorns with 10 points and three rebounds. David wear had seven points and two rebounds in the third while James netted six points in the quarter for the Bighorns.
During the final quarter in play, Tajuan Porter tallied 12 points and added two assists. James went 5-7 from the field and tallied 10 points. Reggie Moore had five points in the quarter while Johnson had four. The Bighorns outshot the Skyforce in the quarter 41-30.
The Bighorns return to the Reno Events Center Saturday, February 28 to face the Oklahoma City Blue at 7 p.m.
