OKC Energy FC News Release
OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy FC has announced the signing of midfielder Sebastian Dalgaard, General Manager Jason Hawkins announced today. Dalgaard's signing is pending receipt of his international transfer clearance.
Sebastian is a dynamic winger with a great attitude," said Energy FC Head Coach Jimmy Nielsen. "He is a smart player and will take on defenders and work well with our forwards. He has gained a lot of experience at Bronshoj in the Danish first division. Sebastian is an exciting addition to the team."
The Danish midfielder has spent the last three seasons with Br=F8nsh=F8j BK of the Danish first division and has been a regular in the Wasps' starting XI since his arrival. Prior to playing for Br=F8nsh=F8j, Dalgaard scored eight goals in two seasons for BK Marienlyst and also played for FC Fyn in fall 2009, splitting time between the first team and U19 squad.
"It's been a long process to get ready for this adventure of moving from Copenhagen to Oklahoma City," Dalgaard said. "I'm very excited for the opportunity, and I hope that I can make a difference. I'm looking forward to getting to know the other players and the staff. I think that this will be a very successful year for Energy FC."
