Rhinos Announce 2015 Schedule

Rochester, NY - The Rochester Rhinos open their 20th season of play with a road game on Saturday, March 28th against the New York Red Bulls at 2:00pm at Red Bull Arena. The Rhinos 20th home opener will take place on Sunday, April 26th at Sahlen's Stadium against the same New York Red Bulls at 2:05pm.

The Rhinos will face each of their Eastern Conference opponents a minimum of two times during the 28-game regular season with the additional games against geographic rivals that include FC Montreal, New York Red Bulls, Pittsburgh Riverhounds & Toronto FC II.

The 14-game 2015 home schedule consists of nine Saturday night games, four Sunday afternoon game and one Wednesday night game. Joining the Rhinos in the Eastern Conference are rivals Charleston Battery, Harrisburg City Islanders, Pittsburgh Riverhounds and Wilmington Hammerheads, alongside newcomers Charlotte Independence, Louisville City FC and Saint Louis FC as well as MLS-owned sides FC Montreal, New York Red Bulls and Toronto FC II.

Here are events already planned for the 20th season of Rhinos soccer:

April 26th - 20th Season home opener

- Section V Championship Night: Honoring the 2014/15 Section V Champions in all Boys & Girls sports

- RDYSL Kickoff Night: Welcome all Rochester District Youth Soccer League members & families.

June 27th - Hall of Fame Night

- See the members of Team Demmin & Team Andracki face off in the Rhinos Legends Game plus the induction of the Rhinos Hall of Fame Class of 2015.

July 26th - New York State West Youth Soccer Association Recreation Festival

- Annual NYSWYSA summer festival for recreational soccer teams from all over New York State.

September 19th - Awards and Fan Appreciation Night

The regular season concludes the weekend September 19th-20th. The 2015 USL PRO postseason will see the top six from each conference move into a four-week single-elimination playoff.
