NEWARK, DE - Jan. 27, 2015 - The Sioux Falls Skyforce won their second straight game on Tuesday night, defeating the Delaware 87ers 121-111 at the Bob Carpenter Center.

A late second quarter flurry netted the 87ers their first lead of the game, when Jared Cunningham hit a three-pointer with 1:11 to go in the half to give the hosts a 63-61 lead. Sioux Falls answered with four straight and went into the half up a bucket.

After a Shawn Jones put-back dunk with 7:07 to go in the third quarter, Sioux Falls never trailed the rest of the way, despite the 87ers keeping their deficit under 10 for most of the second half.

Led by 29 points and 20 rebounds from Jones, all five Sioux Falls (15-11) starters hit double-digit point totals against Delaware (10-15). Scotty Hopson and Henry Walker were each 4-of-8 from beyond the arc on the night, as Hopson finished with 27 points and Walker netted 14.

Delaware received 20-point performances from their top two scorers - D.J. Seeley shot over 50 percent (10-of-16) to record 25 points, eight assists and seven rebounds, and Jared Cunningham went 7-of-11 from beyond the arc to score 24 points. Newly acquired Joonas Caven scored a career-high 15 points in just his third game with the team, hitting on three-of-five shots from deep.

The 87ers shared the ball with 31 assists on 43 made baskets, but the Skyforce won the rebounding battle 45-42, which led to 54 points in the paint.

Sioux Falls continues their road trip with a two-game set with the Westchester Knicks, the first of which will take place on Friday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. ET. Delaware will hit the road for a Saturday evening tilt with the Grand Rapids Drive on Jan. 31, with a 7 p.m. scheduled tip.
