Maine Red Claws Announce Partnership with Hot 104.7 WHTP

PORTLAND, Maine - November 20, 2014 - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, and Hot 104.7 WHTP today announced developments in their continued and expanding local partnership.
Beginning Thursday, November 20th and continuing every Thursday through the end of the season, Hot 104.7 will feature a Maine Red Claw on-air to co-host during the 6pm hour. The feature will move beyond sports and discuss music, their lifestyle, life in professional basketball and other topics to expand and develop the player's individual personality.
Additionally, Hot 104.7's Afternoon host and Program Director, Ryan Deelon, has been named the new in-game host and emcee for all Maine Red Claws home games, beginning this Friday, November 21st at 7:00pm with the home opener vs Canton.
These two new developments add to an already growing partnership between Hot 104.7 and the Maine Red Claws. Hot 104.7 sponsors the official Hot 104.7 Crusher Dance Crew and promotes and supports all Red Claws updates and games.
"The Maine Red Claws are thrilled to expand our partnership with Hot 104.7, and Ryan will be a great addition to our game-night staff," said Dajuan Eubanks, team president.
Hot 104.7 is the area's new mainstream contemporary hit radio (CHR) station serving the area of Portland and Southern Maine. Hot 104.7, now in its third year of operation, is locally owned and locally programmed in Maine. The station features a slogan of playing "The Most Commercial Free Music".
